#MATT STONE & TREY PARKER:
OUT OF THEIR MINDS?
Win Peabody Award
Congratulations to Matt Parker
and Trey Stone
. Last night the wacky South Park
creators picked up a prestigious Peabody Award
for the show in recognition of "its work promoting tolerance in the US” according to the website we cribbed this info from.
Host Jon Stewart
(we’re still on the fence about this guy) gave the boys their award onstage at New York’s fancy shmancy Waldorf Astoria
hotel, the birthplace of the world-famous Waldorf
salad (apples, celery, walnuts and mayo are world-famous? Oh, come on).
While introducing the pair, Stewart applauded their "ability to keep the show fresh and hilarious" after nearly 10 years on the airwaves.
Matt and Trey then bounded onto the stage to the left of the podium where they turned their backs to the audience, dropped their tuxedo trousers, and sprayed the front stage with diarrhea.
It was the most hilarious award acceptance speech ever … as long as you weren’t sitting in the first three rows, of course. ... (LYZAKO)
